Need.....Friday

Dear Bradshaw!

Its finally Friday, A very awaited day in my house, and even more likely EVERY house.

Today, though, happens to be the football game. Don't get me wrong, I can support Jocks for the most part, and football is fun, but most of the players think its gives them some kind of divine rights to fail or not care.

There was an entire debate in my math class all about Football players being athlete students and not student athletes. UHHHHHHH NOT GUNNA FREAKING HAPPEN! I think jocks should have to have a certain grade point average to be able to play. Seriously, Don't get onto me about how you can't go to collage. Because God knows that's not the truth. You need to uphold a respectable attitude, instead of an "I'm totally everything this school wants" attitude, because a lot of us freaks and outcasts are tired of hearing about your achievements. We know you can catch and throw a ball. Show us you can do that plus keep a good grade, plus not be a jerk (which not all of you are....but, c'mon guys).

The band, I must say, Has been doing amazingly sense the start of this year. I for one, am going to be screaming "GO BAND GEEKS!" at our next pep rally. I love the band. Personally I think they are one of our schools better assets. No offense, but much more than the 3 game winning football team who can't catch a break.

Okay, has anybody else not been able to see the principle? I've been trying like crazy and its near impossible. I'm starting to doubt his existence. Maybe its the teachers setting up announcements and that guy with the bright ties is like an actor.

Now, we are getting more and more people involved with this, so keep it up guys! This is YOUR blog. YOUR output. I'm just an editor of YOUR work, news, topics, and anything you can submit. Please! Just build this for what Bradshaw is, or will become.

Anyways, thats all for this friday, Because I'm exhausted.

Always yours,

Okay, I've never been an Obama fan. Never. but This makes him even worse in my eye, and many others who trusted him.

here:

HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION TO LET THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES. WHAT AN EMPTY HEADED PERSON HE MUST BE....

Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The
President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.

"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute.." "I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, "Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for

blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

Please pass this on to every one including every vet and their families whom you know.

How in the world did a person with this mind-set become our leader? I didn't vote for him!!!

REMEMBER THIS STATEMENT... "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice?

wow. I mean really, WOW. Worst crisis we've seen? Not on your life dude! And this is the guy you want those soldiers coming home to? This is the man you think is HELPING them?!?!?!?

oi. What has this country come to that this is our role model?

Maybe I'm just to opinionated, but maybe this guy should never have been in office. I had to watch him take office in a 4th hour last year, ready to start crying. Yes, those people took the risks of going there, BUT THATS WHY WE ARE SUPPORTING THEM!

Does this guy really know so little? I need to chill on the ramble front I suppose. heres Geneva with her segment for this post

New Years Resolutions

High school as we all know it is entered into our lives as of this last week, some for the first time, others for the fourth and final year. Each year is a great experience with many opportunities to learn so much despite the constant drive to be someone new. Most of us have faced that line of social life and only few have been courageous enough to fully cross it. I, however, shied away from what intimidated me and had been a coward in the face of change and variety, and though I knew that it could be the chance of a lifetime to get out there and be a part of life and experience high school to the limits, it was too different. I am going to cross that line, just a little bit, and have some fun this year. I don't know about you, but if we have to be locked into a building for six hours, let's at least make it worth being at. Let's all try and make this a year to remember by getting out of the books and classrooms before school and during lunch, get to know a couple people, and maybe even join a club. Who knows, you might just enjoy yourself.

There is a ton we actually CAN do. I for one am trying to be involved in EVERYTHING that I can (plus make the grades to be aloud to)
Anyways, check in later this week for more!

Dear Bradshaw,
Welcome back!!!

Okay, most of us are still waking up from a summer of hibernation, but I'm totally psyched to be back. I can't help it. I'm a freak. But summer in a dustbowl? not as much fun as it sounded.

Anyways, The first two weeks are officially over! How many do we have left now? like 30 something? Hopefully we can make it. The freshies seem to have adapted slowly, but still nicely. I must say I'm proud (yes, I love the freshies. They're cute when they think they know what's going on). Though, Aparently, they watch to many movies, because in said movies, the library must be a hot spot. all the first week, non geek freshies invaded the library, only to find.....books. Tis a sad day when such expectations are let down.

The new school motto? yeah, I know. but at least pretend you don't laugh about it. The adults try really hard. don't let it on to them that it's not exactly cool. Besides, the new principle, Mr. Streeter is pretty awesome. I mean, I didn't even know who the principle was last year (if there wasn't one, you may laugh).

It looks like more and more people are admitting to being freaks. I must say this is GREAT! Normal is boring.

This blog will be jam packed with more stuff this year. We have a freshie partner, A teacher partner, and Now with more exposure, tons of student stuff! So seriously, send us anything. COMMENT! It all goes to heartslowlybreaking@gmail.com

Honestly, Why are they telling us to chose excellence? Most of us already did! That's why we did so well and almost got the "Excellent" Label! If about seven more people decided to bother, our school wouldn't be nearly the crap everyone thinks it is. In all honestly, Our school is REALLY good. yet I have tons of people trying to get me to go to tri-city prep. WHO GOES TO TRI-CITY PREP?! I mean, It's a great school, but are you that type? better yet, are WE that type? I know I''m not.

The no technology thing? At first, you guys were really mature. I mean, you did great at just dealing with it. now, I'm realizing its an act. C'mon. A little petition from the Softsmore? you must be kidding. No matter how many people revolt, it wont change a thing. Stupid people went and ruined it for everyone. The best we can do now is get out on good behavior (if we're lucky). But really, prove to them we can be mature at all, and stop dragging down old shtuff.

Anyways, I close on a reasonably good note, have a great day Bradshaw, and Stay weird,

wednesday :/

Did everyone get a newsletter from stuco? Well if you did, then you probobly saw that they are resurecting the Bear Den. Supposedly it will be the new 'teen hangout', but to me it sounds like another way for the school district to raise money- not that they don't need it, they do. And I mean, what is this thing going to turn into? Can adults go there to eat? Do you have to follow the school rules? is the food the same quality as the cafeteria's? If it is the same quality, I KNOW that mony people wouln't DREAM of going there. I myself don't think it is that bad, but still, I am not going to pay more than a lunch's price to eat the schools food. WHo's with me? I think we could all use more information about this new teen hangout before we acctually start going there.

If you got the newsletter, then you know that we have a spirit week coming up! It is the week of Presidents Day and we have no school monday. Tuesday is Babe Ruth Sports Day, Wednesday is John Wayne Western Day, Thursday is Erkle Day- my personal favorite-, and Friday is the boring old Bradshaw Spirit Day. On February the 20th, it is also an assembly schedual. Probobly another pep rally. Let's hope this one is better.

Geneva

Hey all! I would first like to congratulate all those band students going to play at the thing with the place and the people there.....CONGRATS!

Also, good luck to all those who are going out for a team. :)

Okay guys, I was also wondering whats going on with the whole " This person is a freak" "that person is a freak" I must ask whats wrong with being a freak?????

I am a proud freak in so many ways it's almost funny. So those of you who really ARE freaks, BE PROUD! you are a weirdo! THANK YOU!!!!

Oy, Valentines day is coming and most of us are happy. then the rest of us know how awful this is going to be. The little kids bug their parents on and on about what tiny cards they have to have to look cool, us high schoolers either have a gf/bf and spend it with them. Then there are the rest of us who dread the holiday. Okay, I'm kindof one of them, but really its growing on me a little, mostly because the day after all the good candy goes on sale. Now I have an issue for you all to address, What happens if you like some1, who likes you back and you know it, but ur not exactly going out? I mean, you dont want to seem corny or way to fast by getting something huge, but you wonder if you SHOULD do something at all. Here enlies the dilemma of MANY people I happen to know. If you have anything to say to these people, PLEASE COMMENT!

Sorry to cut it short today guys but.....I'm baking a cake.

see you all tomarrow!

TUESDAY!

Hey people!

Okay lets start off with some sarcastic WHO HOOS, because The groundhog saw its shadow, and those of us who wake up and walk around at 6 AM in the 20 degree weather, get to keep putting up with it......yay.......

Also, I love the prom boutique Idea, and am personally donating some dresses I made/altered myself. If you see some random punk/goth looking dress, think to yourself "that could've been made my FicFreak" heehee

Also, I read about a Mr. Bradshaw pageant. I started laughing. I really hate most beauty pageants, because the point is to dress even the littlest girls up and put them on display with fake ideas of what is important in their heads. If there was a pageant that involved real thinking and real PERSONALITY then it would be a lot better. The thing with pageants is that they encourage people to all stick to the same general theme/personality, and makes them all almost exactly the same!

Thats why I laughed when I saw the Mr.Bradshaw thing. Well, half the reason. I dare you Bradshaw guys to enter and be total dorks! Just be who you are and don't care at all for once who's watching you be a total weirdo, or prep, or goth, or whatever you call yourself. Please?

OMG YOU GUYS BRING IN PENNIES!!!!!!

You have to bring in pennies. we see them on the floor and ground all the time. How hard is it to pick 1 up and put it in a cardboard box until you get to your third hour? It all goes to charity for Leukemia and lymphoma Research. The are cancers that KILL even little children that barely know whats happening to them. It's not fair. SO PICK UP SOME PENNIES!

Okay, Today Gevena writes:

We awake in a new day,
pristine and unspoiled,
reviving from us our troubled hearts.
We anticipate the approching danger,
for there it always is
awaiting for ourhearts to break,
our souls to die,
and out minds to cease.
For the beginning of yet another day.

WOW......!

Thank you Geneva. She also left me a comment stating:

Wow!!! I think this blog is a really great Idea. I do agree that sometimes it is nice to get the glory for yourself, instead of watching everybody else, but how is the world do you find the time?

It is rediculous (sp?) how people can hate you because of the most stupid reasons. Like being smart. Well, if you really want to be smart, then get some tutoring and pay attention in class, I mean seriously, it isn't that hard.

I also appreciate all of you who are trying to reach out to those of us who may not be the most popular. Thankyou for not be afraid that assosiation with us will ruin your life.

And if any of you are having a rough day, I would suggest that you go on the second floor of the school, streight across from the elevator, there is the most serine place, it is beautiful. It is the most amazing place to relax and take a deep breath.

okay she actually wrote that forever ago, but we can talk about it now. It is ridiculous isn't it? Whats wrong with being smart? You know some people consider smart a GOOD thing. And what about people who are over weight? The Ancient tribes used to consider fat beautiful because it meant their families were rich and well fed. Now a days it is way hard for a girl who actually eats more than rabbit food and water to find a guy who will appreciate that. And vice versa.

And thank you Geneva for the location. I'm deffinatly going to check it out^^

Anyways, every1 have a great tuesday (because they are almost as bad as mondays) and Come read again tomarrow.

AHHHHHHH!

Hey people!

Okay, this week we have some random 8th graders coming to check out the high school. AVID students are being recruited to supervise and tour them around, So good luck and thank you for doing that so we don't have to!^^

This week I would like to recognize Mr. Campbell as a special teacher, because of all his interesting techniques and opinions. Mr. Campbell has 1 marketing, 3 Algebra, and 1 into to business class ( I think). He does a great job, and Is a teacher open to new ideas. He is very intent on helping students with what they are doing, and has a great way of understanding views. Thank you Mr. Campbell for all your awesome work^^

Geveva's Writing for today is outstanding as she says:

There I stand,
the background blurred,
my point neglected.
My positon disturbed,
I lay in a feild,
emptyness and prarie 'round.
Running forward,
there I sit,
keys at my fingers
and sound at my ears.
Galloping across,
everything is dark,
Craving my vitality,
a place where not belonging-
but at least existing-
I can stand on my own
with the background blurred

Thank you Geneva for your lovely and creative work.:)
And I can't wait to see your work for tomorrow....

I am going to rant a little now about our budget. The football field gets new fancy DIRT and yet the proposal for an AP Bio class is denied from lack of BUDGET. The new center for anrts is built (not that the new building isn't nice and all), and the ancient text books can't be replaced for 2 more years because WE DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY..

Right.

So the actual academics are being ignored for un-core classes? I don't mind the renovations, because those are nice things to have. but we got along fine with how everything was before, except the texts and actual educational equipment.

I understand the crisis with money right now, Of all people, I understand, but is it to much to ask for a little more brains in the operation?

Anyways, our poll is closing soon so please vote if you haven't yet.

Thank you for reading and feel free to submit comments and anything to me, I'd love to hear and see them!

FRIDAY!!

Hello again student readers (and any1 else^^).

So it's finally Friday, and I feel great about it. I heard the talent show went reat and I hope you all had fun participating and watching it.

Oh, I f todays Fire drill was to be a surprise,.....It didn't work. At least it wasn't as cold as usual though.:)

The morning announcements were hilarious this morning with the new addition of the guy with the random questions....I think his name was Jack, but I feel bad for forgetting now. But those of you in charge of the announcements, You do A great job. And a Gold star to the guy with the random questions and the scooter. He was pretty Awesome.

Also, WE FINALLY GOT SOME STUFF SUBMITTED!

The first is an untitled poem by a Genava Sage, Who writes:

The elegant oasis
radiating a delicate serenity,
silently calling me to submissiveness.
Elegantly conveying it's inevitable message
of a beautiful inspiration,
the words resounding consistently in mind:
your never alone.

She has wonderfully agreed to keep writing and submitting for me, so watch for more from Geneva. Thanks A ton Gen!

Also an image from a PixalFan222 displayed at the top of our page!

I'm proud and honored to display these submittions and feel free to send more guys^^

Oh yeah, I had a lot of people asking me if I knew when our text school collaboration (nerd speak for dance) would be....and I have no idea....heehee. but it seems to be a growing question. So if there is any information, Please let us know^^

Anyways, Have a wonderful weekend and talk to you all on Monday!

January 29th

Dear Everyone,
Hello! I've realized some stuff recently and I want some opinions about it if you could help me.
For one, the after school late bus was canceled, so those of us who used it for after school activities were stuck an hour after school, waiting for parents who were working. This says something about the announcements doesn't it? If there had been something said over the intercom, the 10 or more students would have gotten home and wouldn't be as disgruntled as they are about the system. What do you guys think we should do about this? It happens a lot when there is a change that will effect students and they don't know about it because there was no announcement or anything! I know that the late class was canceled, but the bus was used for more than just the class.

Also, I've been told of a great problem we seem to have at the school. THERE ARE NO WOMEN SECURITY GUARDS! So, even though most of the drugs and other things are happening in the girls bathroom, there's nothing that can be done about it because the security guards would get arrested for going IN the girls bathroom at all. Those of you reading this who would rather the bathrooms didn't smell like smoke when you step to close, VOCALIZE!

Talent show participants, I wish you a good "Break a leg" (if that could sound good). Sadly I could not make it to your show, but I admire your courage and great expression.

Please send all you can to us you guys, I look forward to everything!

Entry 1, School again

Dear readers,
I'm rather tired of the same old routine at Bradshaw Mountain High, so I am bothering to write down my feelings. We have no school paper, and you can't count on the Pop Rocket (Prescotts youth paper) for every other interesting thing that happens to the rest of us (though you must love the pop rocket.)

Let's start with this, Yes I am freshmeat

but that doesn't make what I have to say worth nothing like I seem to be treated most of the time. honestly, I get a lot of you folk on my back about nothing I say being relevant because of my age or social satire.

Today, I'd like to discuss some random topics. For one, thank you art club. Honestly, those flags you made look brilliant, and really make the school more lively. I mean, I'd like the campus to look like there are people that are forced in this psych ward that have some decent ideas and creativity. Really.

How many of you are freaks that have to deal with people at the school that think your disgusting or weird and do anything to get in your way with ANYTHING? From personal experience, I know how irritating it really is. The is A girl who won't leave me alone because I wore the wrong shade of blue. honestly people, is it worth your time to hate us? or do you really have nothing better to do?

The point of this wasn't to complain, so if I come off that way I apologize.

Now, I'd also like to discuss the up and coming talent show. That was a great idea. Some of us get tired of the popular people getting every speck of glory there is. And to those of you in the talent show, I am doing my sincere best to show up and cheer you all on.

anyways, give me some stuff to talk about people! send anything to heartslowlybreaking@gmail.com

Bye for now
